Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming your way.

Gameplay Enhancements Coming to Splash Sports

    Season-Long NCAAF Contests

College football fans, we heard you. Season-long NCAAF contests are coming soon ahead of this college football season! Bring your RunYourPool pools over to Splash Sports and play in season-long NCAAF Pick X and NCAAF Survivor contests for real money. This season, Splash Sports Commissioners can customize their contests to include games from any of the Major Conferences or only the Top 25 ranked teams each week.

    Against the Spread (ATS)

One of the most popular NFL and NCAAF settings on RunYourPool and OfficeFootballPool is the Against the Spread format. Starting this season, NFL and NCAAF Pick X contests can be played using the Against the Spread (ATS) setting on Splash Sports. But what does ATS mean? In simple terms, instead of just picking a team to win, contest participants must choose a team to cover the point spread. In each matchup, both teams are assigned a point spread. For example, a matchup between the 49ers and the Bills may have a spread of 49ers -2.5 and Bills +2.5. If you pick the 49ers in a contest with the ATS setting turned on, they need to cover that point spread (win by 3 or more points) for your selection to be correct. If you pick the Bills in this scenario, they can either lose by 2 or fewer points or win the game outright for your selection to be correct. This adds an extra layer of strategy and excitement, as you’ll need to consider not just who will win (or lose), but by how much.

    Confidence Points

We’re bringing the popular Confidence Points setting to Splash Sports for NFL and NCAAF Pick X contests. This setting allows you to assign a confidence value to all of your picks, indicating how confident you are about your pick. The higher the confidence points you assign, the more points you can earn if your pick is correct. For example, if you’re confident that the Eagles will win in a matchup against the Commanders, you might assign them 16 confidence points. If they win, you earn 16 points. This setting can also be combined with the ATS setting for an even more challenging contest.

    NFL One & Done

We’re adding the NFL One & Done format, where you draft a roster of players each week, but once you use them, you can’t use them again for the rest of the contest. First introduced in our PGA games on Splash Sports, One & Done combines the excitement of a Tiers fantasy feel with an element of RunYourPool’s flagship game, Survivor. Throughout your contest, you’ll need to weigh the pros and cons of using players for certain matchups or saving them for more favorable ones. With enhanced availability reports and player stats on the Splash Sports app, we’ve made it easy for you to dominate your One & Done contests. This year, we’ll offer two different scoring settings, traditional Fantasy Points and the new Touchdowns scoring system, making NFL One & Done an exciting twist on traditional fantasy football.

Revivals and Additional Lives for Survivor Contests

For those participating in NFL and NCAAF Survivor contests, we’re introducing Revivals and Additional Lives. Commissioners will be able to give participants up to two additional lives, allowing for a certain number of losses without being eliminated from the contest. Additionally, Revivals will let participants continue if all remaining participants are eliminated in the same week, ensuring the contest continues until there’s a clear winner.

Splash Sports is Coming to Canada

Canada, it’s time to join the party. We’re thrilled to announce that Splash Sports will soon be live in Canada! Canadian users can soon join the fun and play in contests for real money with their friends. Get ready to dive into the action and make your picks count.
