Week 6 is here and you should come join me for some winners.

Week Six – Now We’re Cookin’

The leaves are changing, pumpkin spice is seasonally acceptable at the moment and
we’re six weeks into the college football season. Fall vibes are in full effect, and if
you’ve been tailing my picks the last couple of weeks you’ll understand my chipper
autumn demeanor as we head into week six. In a week that saw Georgia survive a big
scare, not much else shook up the top of the college football rankings. If you hopped on
my plays it was just another ho-hum winning week where we snuck winners in by the
hairs of our chin, but they all count the same. Vegas is very well adjusted to each
team’s tendencies but we’re staying steadfast on our trends and keeping our head
    above water.

I followed the 5-0 week with another positive Saturday, and now week six presents a
myriad of traps, rivalry games and peculiar spreads. Time to make sense of it all and
crawl out of the hole with some beer money.

    Tune-In Game of the Week

The main tune-in game of week 6 is a shocker – never in my life did I think the College
Gameday “game of the day” would be in Lawrence Kansas for #17 TCU (-7) @ #19
Kansas. Stunningly, both Kansas (yes, football) and TCU are unbeaten and atop the Big
12 standings, battling for conference supremacy. Kansas has gone from the punchline
of the joke to everyone’s favorite little engine that could in a short time. Lawrence gets
the full spotlight game treatment, but KU is still disrespected as a touchdown underdog
    at home.

    The Nightcap Get-It-Back Game

For the Saturday finale it’s a grimey PAC 12 affair between the 3-2 Oregon State Beavs
and the 1-3 Stanford Cardinal. If you’re desperate enough for action, these teams are
susceptible to giving up big plays on defense from what I’ve seen in recent weeks, so a
late night shootout going over the point total of 55.5 is to be expected. After all, it is PAC
    12 after dark!

Weird Vibe Prediction of the Week

The weird vibes train rolls along – another week another weird vibe leading to a winner.
It felt so wrong to have UCLA as a home dog last Friday night, and oh I was so right.
The Bruins won outright by 8 to get going another winning week. This week’s vibe is
written right in the lines for me. Red hot Tennessee is undefeated, ranked #8 and only
favored by 2 points at LSU? The line alone gives me shivers, and it’s an indication to
bet LSU for a sleepy 11am game that could do the Vols in.

Week 5 Recap – Oops I Did It Again

What might be even more impressive than a 5-0 week is following it up with a
respectable showing – that’s what we did. The Friday night under did not hit, and it’s a
shame Arkansas didn’t cover +18 at home, but the rest of the card brought life. Tech
and K-State zoomed over, Clemson got it done and put NC State at bay again, and the
Georgia under bet is relentless and hits again for a plus unit week.

Week Five: 3-2 ATS, Season Overall: 16-14 ATS

Early Week 6 Plays For Alex

First off, let’s think with our heads here – TCU and Kansas are both unbeaten on the
biggest stage of their seasons. The offenses are playing tight all day, I like Under 68
    points in TCU/Kansas.

Here’s a dog that should bark just enough to cover – Indiana +22. They’re always pesky
at home and this is a funny spot for the Wolverines.

I’m not walking away from a play that’s delivered weekly. The margins are getting tiger
this week but it’s still Under 50.5 points for the Georgia/Auburn matchup. I can’t see
    Auburn getting past 14.

Here’s your Over to latch on to – Vanderbilt/Ole Miss Over 59.5. Jackson Dart is due
for an explosion, Vandy’s defense is quite anemic and their QB runs all over the field.
Perfect scenario for points and chaos.

Finally, I like BYU +4 in a neutral site spot vs Notre Dame (Las Vegas) – The Irish found
a bit of life but it’s time for them to get brought back to reality,a dn BYU is the tough
    nosed team to do that.

Here’s some other diamonds I’m leaning on early this week:
    Oregon/Arizona Under 70, Texas/OKlahoma Over 65, Georgia Southern +2.5

    Eats And Deets

The teleport game: It’s Texas State fair week, as Texas and Oklahoma do battle at
the Cotton Bowl. I’ll take one of everything fried please.

Goofiest line: LIberty -24 at UMass – sad state of affairs at ZooMass these days.

Simultaneous screen count: It’s a two screen day, but the games are spread out
nicely so it’s max screen time type of day for week 6 viewing.

Tailgate pick of the week: Let’s go cajun with Jambalaya in honor of the smelly
line down in Baton Rouge this week.
